The purpose of Franklin Road Baptist Church is to glorify God by encouraging persons to repent of their sins and trust the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4). Through preaching and teaching the Bible, we exhort believers to conform their lives to God's righteous standards of belief and behavior with the help of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:14-17). What is a Baptist Church?

As is historically true of Baptists, this independent congregation is a self-governing and self-supporting church. We practice believer baptism by immersion ( Matthew 28:19-20 ). We also actively and aggressively support numerous faith missionaries who work worldwide to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
